How to enable image rotation in the media field in OrchardCore?

I want to give users the ability to rotate images in the media field in OrchardCore.
If a user uploads multiple images in a field and wants to rotate a specific image in cms, it should reflect the same way on the front end as well.
What steps do I need to take to implement this?
Would appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

You need to extend the current or create your own MediaField

This would be good for a community project, it would be nice if we could add it to OCC I can help you as much as I can, and then we can see if some of the requested features will be good to go with an official OC media field

I'm not sure what are the complexities that you're refer too

Our vision is to use Orchard’s built-in functionality for saving and uploading images.
Currently, in Orchard's media library, the "Edit" option allows users to only rename an image. We have designed an improved CMS UI where, upon clicking "Edit," ImageSharp.Web will be used to enable additional editing capabilities. Users will be able to input Alt text and a caption for the image and currently we are working on this approach

Once edited, the modified image should be saved back to the media library, following Orchard's existing save process.
We are also exploring additional areas, such as ImageSharp and server-side image processing.

Does Orchard support server-side image processing? If so, could you provide documentation or references related to this?
What are your views and insight which could make this task more effective and efficient.

In the media library, when we click 'Edit Image' there is only an option to rename the image. I think we should work on extending the functionality so that an editor opens, allowing us to edit, crop, add watermarks, etc. What do you think? Is this a good approach, or should we consider a different one?

IMHO we need to improve the media app or re-implement using Blazor, regarding your above question I might ping @Skrypt who did something the media app if I recall

Also, I might need to have a look into the source too
