Description
I'm using Debian 12 / Gnome 43.6 with Wayland and v.70 of the Screenshot Tool extension.
I configured the keybinding "Alt+$" (meaning "Alt+Shift+4") for area-selection. The configuration worked without any issues, but pressing the keys does result in nothing. No freezes or errors, but no area-selection either.
I rebooted my machine and made sure the keybinding was still configured, which it was. However, the keybinding did nothing still. I changed the keybinding to "#" for testing and that worked as expected. I then tried "Alt+4", which also worked. Then I tried "Shift+4" and that didn't work. So the issue seems to be linked to the Shift-key somehow potentially.
I also made sure that there are no conflicting keybindings configured on the system, which there were none.
Not sure if this is expected behavior or maybe a bug. I found Issue#161 and Issue#106, which might be related but still seem a bit different.
I would have liked to include log output, but unfortunately there was none. I tried journalctl --user /usr/bin/gnome-shell --follow and pressing they keys, but no new log entries were created.
