Cpu increasing with time

Hello all,

Im using OvenMediaEngine to generate LL-HLS streams this is how im using it.

So i will have multiple apps (currently im testing with 10) sending MPEGTS though UDP to a oven stream and every stream will have a persistence channel so that i can have full DVR of the all stream, for each stream.

I detected that CPU usage is increasing with time, a lot... and i don't if it ever stops increasing

Im using Oven 0.19.0

My current Server.xml

From the thread-level CPU usage, nothing looks abnormal so far.
But there isn’t enough information to analyze the issue properly.

Does the CPU eventually reach 100%?
When the CPU hits 100%, what does the per-thread usage look like?
How about the memory usage?

There might also be some clues in the logs.
Did you notice anything unusual there?
If you upload the logs, I might be able to find some hints.

I did not test if the CPU reached 100%
The memory usage seemed fine.

I belive this might be related to the DVR, because i have DVR for 24h configured in XML file.

I disactivated the DVR option and the CPU did not increased pass 5%-8%.
Then i did another test. I used 5 minutes DVR this stopped happening, with 10 streams it increases until 15-16% and stabilizes.

So is this behavior expected to a 24h DVR?

This assumption is likely true, as if the DVR is too long, the cost of renewing the HLS Playlist will be high due to the large Playlist.

Ok so if it is an expected behavior how should i archive a 24h DVR?

Should i have a mix on my application frontend that switches between Dump and DVR, something like this? Did you have any use case like this?
