Description
Description
This smart shuffle system would first pick a random artist from the artsts list and then pick a random song from that one artist, resulting in more unique artists being played on average.
I am aware of #470, but this is different as it shouldn't require BPM detection.
Problem solved
I'm frustrated that artists from which I have a lot of music keep being randomly selected, while artists from which I have very little music almost never get played.
Other implementations
I havn't seen another MP3 player include smart shuffling and the approach taken by streaming services like Spotify is only done to save them money.
Benefit
It will let users listen to more unique singers in one session without being biased towards one liked artist.
