Using the example code in the readme prints a blank screen, as if the wrapper was not loading on the client. 'use client' does not fix it either.

That comes from the wrapper touching React internals that changed in React 19. In other words, you’ve almost certainly got React 19 in your Next app, while @p5-wrapper/[email protected] (and @p5-wrapper/[email protected]) were built against React 18.
