Composer thinks the repo is private #7

Description

Installing php-ffmpeg/extras (dev-master 4b3f874): Cloning failed using an ssh key for authentication, enter your GitHub credentials to access private repos
Head to https://github.com/settings/tokens/new?scopes=repo&description=Composer+on+localhost.localdomain+2017-03-31+2026
to retrieve a token. It will be stored in "/home/josh/.config/composer/auth.json" for future use by Composer

I also tried running composer clearcache. I should not have to do anything for authentication since you host a public repo. If I comply with creating the token, it does install though. I did recently change my SSH keys & did not update github, but it didn't affect the ability to install other packages such as symfony/symfony with composer.
