Conda, Python, Julia, etc. Any other ports available or in works?

Thanks for this project.
I feel the installation process is not very streamlined, as it involves running different make files etc. I would love to have a conda package which will take care of this.

Furthermore, I primarily work in python, and it would be great if there is a python version of this. Or even a wrapper. I know a lot of the code base in fortran based.

Is something like this in works ?
How easy or hard is it ?
