Status of RTX 5000 series

Hi,

I'm contemplating getting a new PC with an RTX 5000 series GPU. A couple posts on Reddit states reForge has support of the 5000 series. Is that the case? A pip list shows torch 2.7.1 is what is installed. Perhaps I missed it but I don't see anything in the shell scripts or requirements that would install torch 2.8. Thanks for keeping the forge lit!

torch 2.7.1 is what you need for Blackwell. You can update to 2.8 nightly or 2.9 nightly; both versions work.

Hello. Torch with 2.7.1+cu128 (the one that install by default) supports blackwell 2.0 (RTX 50 series)

2.8 and 2.9 are nightly (both also work)

@playlogitech with that same setting and no neg i get nan lol, but speeds

batch 1: Time taken: 0.9 sec.
batch 6: Time taken: 3.0 sec.

I think batch 1 has a bit of cpu bottleneck.
