add 3.14 rc1 to CI

use github pydantic, main branch as of the time of this commit

comment out pydantic, and globus-compute-sdk which requires it - so this CI run won't test anything with globus compute. when there's a new pydrantic release out, try again.

remove proxystore, pending new pydantic

turn on debug logging to console to see if that helps me understand repeated hangs

log console output to see if it helps debugging

Merge remote-tracking branch 'origin/master' into benc-python3.14

add MacSafeQueue testing of other contexts - this more accurately represents cross-Python version testing, and possibly more accurately represents MacOS testing on linux

Remove some debugging prints

delete MacSafeQueue - this probably breaks on os x but its already broken I think, see issue #3723

Change some explicit Python versions from 3.11 to 3.14.0-rc1 in other testing workflows
