Rats mod and citadel not functioning on 1.16.5

• I understand that the latest version of Patchwork released on Github Releases is not supported, and I have compiled the version the bug is found on from the source code.
• I understand that a crash report that includes the line "Patchwork mod [modid] tried to access an unimplemented [...]" is not a bug, but instead a report that a mod is missing a feature. I will not open an issue for crash reports that report unimplemented features.
• I understand if I do not confirm these things my issue will be closed as invalid.

Describe the bug
Using a Patched "Rats" mod, or a patched "Citadel" makes the game just die on launch due to an error.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Patch mod Citadel
2. Patch mod Rats
3. Launch Game
4. Crash

Expected behavior
Successfully load Minecraft

I Corrected this issue's title and description, intitally i had some different issue, i have an actual identifyable one now though.
