Fix the project as per new libary and new python version

This project was built back in 2020, As time shortage I am not able to fix the project so can someone help to fix the project as per new python libraries and Python version or maybe if anyone has better idea then we can disucss and implement.

🚀 Modernization / Compatibility Update Needed

Description
This project was originally built in 2020 and works with older versions of Python and libraries.
I’m seeking collaborators to help update it so it works with newer Python versions (3.10, 3.11, etc.) and modern library versions.

What needs to be done

• Update requirements.txt with latest versions of dependencies
• Fix import statements or function calls that are deprecated
• Ensure compatibility with latest Python versions
• Make file paths and OS handling robust (cross-platform)
• Add error handling / logging for better runtime debugging
• Update documentation / README to reflect changes

Steps to reproduce / test

1. Clone the repo
2. Create a Python 3.10+ virtual environment
3. Run pip install -r requirements.txt
4. Try launching each script (e.g. attendance.py, automaticAttendance.py, trainImage.py)
5. Note any errors or failures

Open to collaboration / suggestions
If anyone has ideas for enhancements (e.g. using modern face recognition models, improving UI, or adding test coverage) — feel free to propose them. I’m open to working together and merging pull requests.
