Multiples of audiobook that I can't delete

Overview

I can't delete an audiobook out of the app, without deleting it from my device. There is multiples of the same audiobook in the app. I just want the one. So since i couldn't delete 1 and leave the other (because it's the same file on my device) i decided to completely uninstall the app, reinstall it and add the audiobooks again.
However, when i reinstalled, all the books were there already and they weren't playing. So I'll have to add all the audiobooks back to the app for them to play, ending up with multiples of all the audiobooks, when i started out trying to remove multiples of one.
Please help me. I really love this app and I'm about to crash out amd cry.

How to reproduce

1. Reinstall the app. (All the audiobooks that were previously there, will still be there)
2. None of them will be able to play.
3. I'll add all them back to the app (like i would've done originally for the books to show up on the app)
4. I'd end up with 2 of each audiobook (the one that installed with the app and doesn't play plus the one i just readded that does play.)
5. I can't delete the non playing one. It refuses to delete, regardless of how many times I've uninstalled and reinstalled etc
6. I cry in frustration in my room.
