This version represents additions made over a period of months
by Dave Moore and John Zobitz. changes to the code will be made more frequently from now on sipnet.c This version of SIPNET builds on Bill Sacks ([email protected]) variable timestep version. This version contains options for computing transpiration 1)Ball Berry (working) 2)Penman Monteith (gives nonsense results) written by Dave Moore ([email protected]) This version also contains a suite of below ground options written by John Zobitz ([email protected]), including a soil quality model and explicit methods of tracking microbes niwots.param includes several new parameters required to run the various additions to sipnet.c e.g. the Ball Berry slope m niwots.spd updated to allow for the inclusion of half daily input up to the end of 2005 niwots.clim (addition of two climate variables Net Radiation and Soil Heat Flux) These two new variables are required for the Penman Monteith transpiration calculation and will probably be removed later.
