The document mentions, as the fourth bullet point under TODO, the following:

• More accessor generator attributes

Attributes to request that other kinds of accessor methods be generated for fields. Likely :writer.

But the :writer attribute is also documented in the Field attributes section on the same page.

This is presumably an oversight?

Yes, perlclass was revised a month or so ago to remove that TODO item.
