What is the feature?

I would like the ability to draw primitive outlines without overlapping corners. Made apparent when using thick lines shown here:

Because this will be more expensive and generally not required, I'm thinking it could be an option in plDrawLineOptions. In dcapp I translated points to the intersections of the adjacent points to get the following result:

I can see this as a possibly flag in plDrawLineOptions. I obviously created this struct for the purpose of easily extending the drawing API without breaking it. Let me know what you are thinking. I imagine this would be used for the add_lines function and the other implicitly "plural" shapes.

On a related note, in the past, I considered adding options for mitering joined lines. I wasn't sure if this would be out of scope for a mostly "debug" drawing API and instead belong in a more "polished" drawing API. I did some early prototyping based on this article here.
