Rewritten (v3.0.0-alpha-17) - Updating switch

This is an early version of Map Extractor v3 release. It has been completely rewritten in order to provide better functionality and user experience. To use this version you have to remove old config from configuration.yaml file and use UI to add the integration again.

Caution

Please keep in mind this is not a final release, so a lot of things might change or not work at all at this moment.
Does everything work correctly, or are there some missing functionalities? Please provide feedback in the comments below.

• It is no longer possible to turn on/off the camera entity

Please update the documentation to include how to add credentials (especially the QR code bit). I am not able to proceed beyond adding the addon :-)

I've added it and it managed to recognise my xiaomi.vacuum.b108gl

Live Map is showing as Idle and there is no map.

Am I right to expect a map like in the app with the ability to select a room and "start" a cleaning task?

I tried to read the documentation on the main repo but got completely lost before realising that it's for the pre v3 stable version.

Yes, but I'm pretty sure it recognized it as "Unsupported", there also should be a text on the map that says this model is not supportedat this moment.

When a vacuum is supported then this integration provides a map image. Controls can be created using e.g. my Vacuum Map Card

Oh darn. You are absolutely right. I just double-checked and it says "xiaomi.vacuum.b108gl by Unsupported"
