Should isModerator return false for AutoModerator?

This is technically correct, as AutoModerator isn't on mod teams by default, but functionally it should be treated as a moderator account in most apps.

You could ask a similar question about -ModTeam accounts. They're not on the mod list, but many of the situations you might want to check that a given user is a moderator, you want those two accounts to be treated as one - such as excluding users from checks and so on.

One of the reasons I still keep my own "isModerator" functions is because I always treat these two accounts as if they were mods.

A related question is how you might respond if you wanted to check mod perms.

I suppose the function could have an includeUnlistedMods argument to toggle inclusion of AutoMod and the ModTeam accounts. It could be optional and default to one or the other.
