Support more GPS tags formats

I've noticed that when I geotag photos in Darktable, the geotags in the photos' EXIF are not recognized by the RV Maps&Earth Piwigo plugin. I guess it's because Darktable uses, for some reason, format degrees decimal_minutes instead of degrees minutes seconds. Below are links to two images, 1st has the tags recognized correctly, 2nd doesn't.

Would it be possible for RV Maps&Earth to support also the decimal minutes format?
