Unable to load example

I was trying to run a sample extension from here and followed the instructions in README. Once i try to load the chrome-mv3-dev folder into the dev mode i see the following error -

"Invalid value for 'oauth2.client_id'."
I notice there is no client in the manifest.json file.

Am I missing something here?

Same problem here, triple checked everything...
