Is MOODLE_500_STABLE really stable or still in beta?

I noticed the README.md mentions:

Use the latest STABLE branch for development or installation.
The current stable branch is MOODLE_400_STABLE, and supports Moodle 4.0 and up.

This suggests that MOODLE_500_STABLE may not yet be considered stable, and MOODLE_400_STABLE is still the recommended branch. Could you please confirm if that's correct, or does the README.md just need an update?

The problem with no 5.0 version being officially released and deposited in https://moodle.org/plugins is also that it is never going to happen that the language strings would be completely translated to other languages.
It is impeding being able to work fully with questionnaire.
New functionalities are in just plain English.
Not entirely sure you really want that @mchurchward .
