Description
Describe the feature request
Add a single-click setting within the Trigger menu to limit how often a popup appears. Currently, preventing a popup from showing to the same person multiple times requires manually creating a cookie and then linking that cookie to a trigger in a separate step.
This feature would allow a person to check a box labeled "Show only once" or "Limit repeat displays" directly within the Trigger settings. Ideally, the plugin should automatically handle the background tracking and provide a simple field to set the number of days before the popup can appear again.
Use case
Setting up popup cookies is one of the major hiccups for Popup Maker customers.
Manually linking cookies to triggers is a (repetitive) hurdle for a basic task. Most popups creators want their popup to show only once per visit or once per month to avoid annoying visitors.
Other pop-up tools, such as Hustle and Elementor Pro, have simplified this part of their setup. They've set the modern standard for managing repeat popup display.
Example screenshots (if any)
Hustle: The "Closing Behavior" settings where a person can select "No longer show" from a list of options.
Elementor Pro: The "Advanced Rules" tab which uses a simple toggle to limit the number of times a popup displays.
Possible UI in Popup Maker: A new section within the Trigger settings titled "Repeat Settings" that replaces the need to manually navigate to the Cookies tab.
Thanks!
