Extension overview

Are you tired of removing junk headers and cookies from the PoCs copied from Burp? Do you have it up to here with redacting credentials? This extension allows you to copy a request/response pair from almost anywhere in Burp without junk (as defined by you) headers, cookies, HTTP parameters, and credentials.

Comes with a default configuration preset based on headers/cookies compiled by the author.

  • JWT signatures and sensitive cookies are replaced with REDACTED (configurable via extension settings)

Usage instructions

1. Go to any request in Repeater or select a request(s) in the Proxy tab.
2. Right-click the request(s), select Extensions > Copy as snippet > Default.
3. Paste the PoC in your report.
4. (optional) configure your own headers/cookies/parameters to be scrubbed/redacted in Settings > Extensions > Copy as snippet - just add your own preset or edit the default one.
5. (optional) Go to Burp Settings > Extensions > Copy as snippet and check "Enable keyboard shortcut". If you press the configured key combination it in the HTTP request editor, the request/response pair will be copied using the first preset in extension settings.
