Build failure on FreeBSD

I am trying to build the hs-postgrest port (10.1.0) on FreeBSD 13.1-p7, and am getting the following errors:

cabal: Could not resolve dependencies:
[__0] trying: HTTP-4000.3.16 (user goal)
[__1] trying: parsec-3.1.15.0/installed-3.1.15.0 (dependency of HTTP)
[__2] next goal: protolude (user goal)
[__2] rejecting: protolude-0.3.2 (conflict: parsec => bytestring==0.11.4.0/installed-0.11.4.0, protolude => bytestring>=0.10 && <0.11.4)
[__2] fail (backjumping, conflict set: parsec, protolude)
After searching the rest of the dependency tree exhaustively, these were the
goals I've had most trouble fulfilling: HTTP, parsec, protolude

I know nothing about cabal or haskell, but this sure looks like conflicting requirements in postgrest. Can anyone advise, or should I take this to the FreeBSD folks?

I see that FreeBSD has updated this port in the development branch, they just haven't ported it back to 2023Q1 yet.
