Option to run Sage cells in the browser using WebAssembly instead of the Sage Cell Server #2803

@mkoeppe

Description

@mkoeppe

A part of the functionality of Sage is available for serverless in-browser execution using WebAssembly. https://passagemath.org/passagemath-jupyterlite-demo/lab/index.html

This can reduce latency, eliminate the availability issues with the Sage Cell Server, and enable interactive computational widgets.

(https://pretextbook.org/support.html suggests to discuss ideas on the Google Groups prior to submitting issues, but my request to join pretext-dev was denied.)
