I would like to express my interest in becoming a maintainer for the PrestaShop project. I have been consistently involved across several areas of the ecosystem — modules, theme work (including Hummingbird), issue triage, new feature, bug fix, and PR reviews.

My involvement includes regular participation in discussions, reviewing and moderating issues and pull requests, and contributing code or feedback across multiple official repositories. I also follow the project’s workflows, coding standards, and the expectations described in the Maintainers Guide.

I would be glad to support the project more formally by helping with reviews, guiding contributors, and contributing to the long-term quality and consistency of the ecosystem.

Hello Alexis,

from what I understand, the maintainer role was essentially phased out when the project introduced the council structure. The page on prestashop-project.org still exists, but there are no maintainers listed anymore.

Because of that, it might make more sense to apply for the tech-council instead, if it makes sense for you. However, consider if this brings you any benefits. When I left all councils, there was zero activity anyway and everything was discussed internally within your company, which you are a part of.
