Hi all,
I'm new to Athena++ and am trying to learn the basics on how to get simulations running with Athena. I learnt that to start a simulation in Athena, usually I'll need to specify an input file with the all the parameters required, using a command in the form of: ./athena -i athinput.<problem-name>, where athena is the name of the executable.
I was wondering if there's an alternative way to run an Athena simulation, starting from the outputs from other simulation software? Specifically, I have some h5 files containing outputs from MHD simulations using ZEUS-MP. So I'm thinking about if it's possible to use those files containing information such as 3D arrays of density, velocity, and magnetic field as the initial condition of an Athena++ simulation. Any help would be highly appreciated!
