If you do not own the server. then you can use ViaProxy (or VIAaaS, but ViaProxy is easier for simpler deployments.) |

If you need your bot to connect to a newer version right now, you can use ViaBackwords, this will not give the bot the ability to use new features just login, these are server side plugins so you have to own the Minecraft server.
