We agreed on 5/20/2022 to proceed with AGPL for now based on its compatibility with GPL and many other licenses, and its modest additional restriction on "use over a network" which could provide some moderate additional protection from undesirable uses/users.
There is some remaining consideration and desirability by some for additional constraints on commercial derivatives. This can be explored over time. In particular a "Commons Clause" may be considered for the future, if agreeable to all contributors to-date:
