Recurring problems when collecting data to save the project #290

Hello. Even in version 5.4.1, after adding a delay when collecting data to save the project to improve reliability, it still working wrong for large projects.

When I open a project, sometimes part of the code in one of the macros does not load correctly. All the actions after a certain line simply disappear.

The problem is that sometimes, when I open a project, one macro — usually one with more than 100 actions — is incomplete. Other times it loads correctly, but when I save it, the new file becomes incomplete, with a smaller size. From a random line to the end, all actions are gone. This happens very often. Sometimes I can’t even modify a project and save it under another name, because the file size always becomes smaller.

Usually, if I notice it, I close Pulover’s and reopen the file, and usually everything loads correctly. But when I try to save the project again, the new file often still loses code and decreases in size. I’ve tried saving slowly and giving it time, but the result is the same.

These projects contain 12 or 13 macros. About half of them are short (20 to 100 actions), but some are long, with more than 700 actions (about 1500 lines of code). The project files are around 125 KB.

I’ve tested this on different computers, always running diferent Windows 10 versions, and the problem is the same.

Is there any size or line-number limit per macro to keep it stable?
Is there any way to protect or lock macros so I can edit one and be sure the others won’t be affected?

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks a lot!
