Feature request: remove ellipsis

Ellipsis (...) is the new pass that the hip kids seem to be using nowadays, so seems reasonable that unnecessary ellipsis's also can be removed with the same logic as pass. Other than another flag or two this should hopefully be a relatively straightforward feature to implement :)
