resize optimize dialog crash

Hi there,
When I resize the Optimize plugin's dialog, it just got stick for a few seconds, then the whole pymol crash and quit.
I'm using PyMOL3.1.6.1.
Any clues?

I'm rewriting the optimize plugin here: #172 but I have no clue about its compatibility with a version of PyMOL that old.

I think this is something that you had a patch for back in the day, but something I should have probably forwarded in later versions. :(
