As of today Thursday 24th, 2025 the false positive for Quicklook 4.00 is resolved by Microsoft. The odd thing about this issue was even if you did do an install the existing QL install (3.7.3 in my case) was still present so you got the Windows Defender detection messages but the old version remained installed so it looked like the install was successful and working... Anyway, it works now |
