I expect you're better able to convey your ideas by forking the two repositories and pushing a few commits that evolves each of the projects in the direction you wish to show instead of just publishing two checked in zip files.

For how to use git, https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2 is a good start. Any of the LLMs ought to be able to guide you as well.

Thanks for the comment my version of mvdsv is old and cilk is not in gcc any more. However conversion to omp should be simple
