loop/errors when booting - doubleagentd port not valid

Stuck in a loop while booting. Last errors come from:
vfs_xattr: doubleagntd port not valid
system/com.apple.systemkeychain - exited due to exit(0)

any thoughts?

Those errors are likely not related to your boot issue. The installer does a lot of reporting for services meant for real macs, most of which are just meant for diagnostics.

I'd try to get a screenshot or recording of where it's stopping/restarting. Also, what kind of hardware (mainly the CPU) are you using to create this VM?

I've let it run for a while and now it looks like it is looping through the following warnings/errors. I'm not sure if the "real" error happened somewhere earlier (i'll have to see if i can capture all of the Hyper-V output). Is there anything specific that I should look for?

In terms of what i'm running:

• CPU Comet Lake - I7-10700K - CPUID - 0A065
• OS - Windows Server 2019

Whoops, I had missed the notification for this. This is an interesting case as this has usually only been reported on AMD CPUs. I would try installing macOS Catalina and see if it persists. You can upgrade to a newer version of macOS from there, which is the workaround suggested for these kinds of issues (failed lookup: com.apple.dock.fullscreen):

Thanks for the tip. I was able to install Catalina; but no luck w/ upgrading to Sequoia after install. The update downloaded and started the upgrade process, but then crashed w/ a corrupted screen:

You might have to keep booting into the installer (as long as you no longer see a separate disk in the OpenCore picker for your macOS install). Otherwise, does this still happen when re-booting into the install?
