Artifact search results not sorted on publication date

The header says:

Search results (most recently published first)

However, it seems that the ordering doesn't correspond to actual conda package publication dates. I think sorting by publication date or version would be really helpful, especially when one is trying to figure out in which version a file disappeared.

Hm, true, maybe at some point it did but I don't think it does anymore. We can only sort by version I think, and not sure how much we can implement in SQL directly 😬 The SQL queries are available at https://github.com/Quansight-Labs/conda-forge-paths/blob/main/datasette.yml, if you are curious.
