Controllable AIs

I want to start AI vs AI fights and see what happens.
Sometimes I want to take control over an AI and do certain things, like building a nuke or so and then give back the control to the AI.
Is it possible to implement something like this?

I tried doing it myself by forking this project, but couldn't find any good documentation for modding...
So turns out to be quite hard to do anything really.

If you enable sandbox mode, this will allow you to set control mode (check the C alongside their name) an AI and spawn units.

That looks good, but its missing complete control, like moving the commander around and building stuff.

No, it includes that, but you'd need to use hotkeys like from hotbuild2 to do builds, and the AI will pretty much constantly override your decisions.

Ahh. Wouldnt it be like possible to pause the AI and save its state, then let the player do stuff, then give back the control to the AI and restore its state.

Not with what's exposed to modders, no.
