A way to batch scans for addresses not derived from the same descriptor

Sometimes a wallet has to batch scans addresses which are not derived from the same descriptor. A common case is for swap addresses. In order to replace effectively electrum server api, it would be necessary to have a mechanism to batch such pool of addresses scans.
Do you think that it's in the roadmap of waterfalls?

I am not sure, I have to think about this.

I am not too familiar of swap addresses, even if today there Is not a descriptor to derive swap addresses, would it be possible to define one? Like for example you can derive pegin addresses from a specific descriptor (didn't found documentation for pegin descriptors, please have a look at ElementsProject/elements-miniscript#96 and related code)

By swaps, I meant also swaps from onchain to lightning network or from lightning network to onchain. See for instance a description of the scripts here: https://github.com/BoltzExchange/boltz-backend/blob/master/docs/claiming-swaps.md

Ok, I think we can add a way to query a bunch of addresses.

Still thinking if it's appropriate to have it as a separate endpoint or use the waterfalls endpoint with different query string.

What do you think of adding a field addresses to the waterfalls endpoint query string mutually exclusive with descriptor that contains a comma separated list of addresses?

The server will need to enforce a limit on the number of addresses requested, like 100, is it enough for your use case?

@RCasatta thanks for the quick response. Adding an additional list of addresses is great. 100 seems to be enough although it would be nice to be able to configure the server with that limit.
