lintr 3.3.0-1 changed default parse_settings to FALSE for lint()

Hi,

In the new 3.3.0 version, the lintr package changed the default parse_settings to FALSE for the lint function, which disables the detection of a .lintr file. Could this be considered for the next version, or is there a way to circumvent this and modify the call to the lint function?
