Brackets interpreted as link even without backtick

When attempting to display text such as [[test]] (as is commonly done when sharing interface configurations), this happens with micron-parser-js:

Note the missing left bracket

When it really should look like this:

I can look into this sometime, but it won't be for a while.
This is likely worth looking into deeply as I suspect this may be part of a bigger issue.
