Using models o1 and o3-mini got the exception: "Unsupported parameter: 'temperature' is not supported with this model."

Hi,
I am trying to use the o1 and o3-mini models through the api. Creating the assistant with these models got succesfully.
In the the assistant response i can see that by default the temperature value has been set to 1 (i havent send any value when creating the assistant). so this seem to be working fine.

But when i try to relate filed to the assistant of these models i got the exception:

ModifyAssistantAsync Failed! HTTP status code: BadRequest | Response body: {

}

I am getting first the assistant and then try to modify it using the modify assistant method. I have tried a lot but i am not able to get rid of this exception. When i retrieve the assistant i still see the temperature value is 1. When use the modify endpoint i have tried to set it to null in the request but this does not work either.

Also having the same issue when trying to create a thread on the assistant of these models.

Please help me how to deal with this, or it seems to be a bug?

Hi Joris, can you also provide a snippet of the c# request you used to make the request?

I'll look into this and make sure the property isn't used for requests of these models, with unit tests.

Hi, I am currently trying to use the latest version 8.6.2 to query the assistant in the o3-mini model in a thread (RunResponse run = await thread.CreateRunAsync(assistant, StreamEventHandler)); and I also get the error "Unsupported parameter: 'temperature' is not supported with this model."

assistant is creating on https://platform.openai.com. I use

OpenAIClient api = new OpenAIClient(OpenAIAuthentication.LoadFromEnv());
return await api.AssistantsEndpoint.RetrieveAssistantAsync(assistantId);

to get assistant

@StephenHodgson This issue is still found on AssistantsEndpoint methods CreateAssistantAsync and ModifyAssistantAsync when I tried creating/modifying assistant with o3-mini model. I'm currently on v8.8.1. Can you confirm that this is replicable? Thanks.
