Control does not work in Portal or Power Page Forms.

Have you tested or are aware that this control does not work in a Portal or Power Apps? You can add the users via model driven app and the experience is as expected. But, when you enable the component in a portal or power page based form an set the attributes under meta data, if will render the users that were set in the model driven app, but if you try to add a user, the drop down just spins.

I have not had time to try and debug this. Just wanted to check and ask if you have tested this.
