i have a some issue how to make main controller as Api i.e instead of @controller i want to use @RestController

Change your controller to REST API
in place of @controller use @RestController
@RequestMapping("/api")
spring.thymeleaf.enabled=true
if you have this in pom.xml disable it
Now your Angular frontend will:

Send HTTP requests to the Spring Boot backend (/api/...)
Receive JSON data
Render it using Angular components
Enable CORS (if needed)
To allow Angular to communicate with your Spring Boot backend:
@crossorigin(origins = "http://localhost:4200") // Angular default port
@RestController
@RequestMapping("/api")
public class MyRestController {
// ...
}
Or globally via WebMvcConfigurer.
