Description
Hi, I’d love a new Action menu item: “Open File in Explorer” that opens the containing folder of the active window’s process and selects the executable. This is a common workflow for diagnostics (checking installs, logs, replacing configs) and would remove the need for extra tools.
This feature exists in SmartContextMenu and SmartSystemMenu, and adding it would let AltSnap fully replace them in many setups.
Expected behavior: resolve the executable path for the active window’s process and launch Explorer with selection; if the path is unavailable (e.g., system/UWP/elevated), show a friendly message or open the nearest resolvable location.
Environment: Windows 11 23H2, latest AltSnap.
Thanks for maintaining AltSnap—this would be a very handy addition.
