error: Could not access 'HEAD'

If I try to use the extension options I always get the following error:
error: Could not access 'HEAD'
If I use the VS code option "Open Changes (difftool)" everything works fine, it opens the differences in Beyond Compare
but when I try launch diff tool I always get the error mentioned above.

Is there any solution for this?

Can you run both of these commands in your terminal and let me know which ones work?

git difftool -y myFile.ts
git difftool -y HEAD myFile.ts

The "HEAD" version is what my extension uses. I added it because it wasn't working without it. Though I just tested again and it seems to work just fine without the "HEAD" there.

Also, this might happen if it's trying to run in the wrong folder. It will pick the first workspace folder that contains the target file. Are you running multiple workspaces? Is the workspace a valid Git directory?
