Heya, The script does disable fast start-up, maybe this causes the issue? It's worth a shot to undo the change made by the script and manually disable it again to see if that changes anything. You can run this registry key to undo the change made by the script. I'm not sure if it's feasible for you, but I'm interested to see if the issue is due to the script, or maybe always occurs after a reboot or a specific update /driver being installed. |

It seems that I found the issue, it might have been caused by disabling fast start-up which seems to increase shutdown time... Thanks for the answer! |

Hi, I used to have a Windows 11 / Ubuntu dual boot and remember having run Win11Debloat on Windows. I don't remember precisely if the following issue appeared right after, but I began experiencing consistent freezes on Linux boot after coming back from Windows, although I had disabled Fast Startup (
powercfg /h off) and performed a complete shutdown (shutdown /s /f /t 0).Recently, I replaced Ubuntu with Garuda Linux (an Arch-based distro). I did a Windows update (24H2) before replacing my Ubuntu partition (because I didn't mind much if Windows would break Grub - and actually didn't), and the issue had disappeared. However, I ran Win11Debloat on Windows again today and the issue started to reappear. My Linux boot consistently freezes when coming back from Windows, usually after NetworkManager finishes starting.
What could have been changed by this script on Windows that caused this problem? Thanks in advance!
