app_commands not defined import - py-cord v2.6.1

Hello,

I'm experiencing a persistent ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'app_commands error when running my discord bot, which is using Py-cord. I uninstalled discord.py.
My code imports the module correctly with this line:

from discord import app_commands

from app_commands import CommandTree, Group

However, when I try to run the bot, I get the following traceback:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'discord.app_commands'

Steps I've taken:

1. I have reinstalled Py-cord multiple times using pip uninstall py-cord followed by pip install -U py-cord.

2. I've ensured I'm using the correct Python interpreter. I used sys.executable in my script to confirm the exact path to my Python executable: c:\Users\krazydev\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python313\python.exe.

3. I have used the full path to install Py-cord to ensure it's installed for the correct Python version. Here are the commands and their output:

4. I have restarted my editor (VS Code) after each installation to clear any cache.

Despite all these steps, the error persists, and my linter shows app_commands as "undefined".

I'm completely stuck and would appreciate any guidance you can offer. It seems the module is installed, but the bot cannot find it for some reason.

You said you are using py cord (a fork), while this issue tracker is for discord.py (the original library).
I'm sure they have some place to ask questions about their library as well, but you will have to look for it yourself.
