is_nsfw is always false for threads

Summary

calling is_nsfw() on a thread always returns False, even if the parent channel allows NSFW

Reproduction Steps

When accessing the thread through the interaction.channel object, interaction.channel.is_nsfw() always returns False, even if the parent channel has the nsfw flag. Additionally, interaction.channel.parent is None, where I'd expect the parent channel.

Minimal Reproducible Code

Additionally, interaction.channel.parent is None, where I'd expect the parent channel.

If I'm not mistaken, when your parent channel is None (i.e TextChannel), it will always return False
Relevant code: return parent is not None and parent.is_nsfw() (https://github.com/Rapptz/discord.py/blob/master/discord/threads.py#L388-L395)

interestingly, I got parent_id but not parent, meaning the get_channel lookup failed, which made me think permissions issue. I needed to add the "View Channels" bot permission for this to work. My problem is solved, but maybe there's a way to show a warning when a permission is missing?

get_channel returning None for a thread means that thread is not cached, dpy doesn't cache archived threads. You would need to fetch that thread, if you want info regarding it. Nvm my mind just did a blunder the parent is always gonna be a channel and not a thread also threads are accessible throught get_thread not get_channel mb
