Thanks for the constructive feedback. The version 3.3.x release was a refactor of the dashboard UI only; there are no changes to the default network settings that would result in a performance drop. We've had good results with enabling BBR, but if it doesn't work in your setup you can skip this option. |

I am a new user and set up version 3.2.9 about one month ago. Yesterday I updated to version 3.3.2 (I think, maybe 3.3.1?) but switched back to the earlier version because of some performance issues. I thought I would provide a little feedback.
The main reason I switched back was because the networking/diagnostics screen reported my internet download speed dropped from up to 100Mbps to around 4Mbps. I did select to install the BBR kernel module (the debottle-necking option?) and I do not remember selecting that option in my original install.
I know that I could have set it up again without that option, but I noticed that the dashboard display had been significantly upgraded. Although the new screen is very informative, the graphic elements appeared too large on my firefox browser and I could not work out how to use the new hourly traffic screen. I have a lot of trouble with firefox lately, so that could be the reason, but decided to revert to 3.2.9 because of the speed.
I also noted that the network time server was available, which is great.
I hope this feedback is useful and appropriate here in this Q&A section. I have not found any other postings discussing operational observations.
