Hi, loyal Vanced, Now revanced user and I have a question for the developers.

You're probably aware of YTs new AI age verification BS soon to be implimented on August 13th.

My question is, what measures will ReVanced have to evade the AI age verification?

I do not want to hand YT my ID, remember the Tea app leak? Imagine that happening to YouTube!

I hope ReVanced has a way to bypass and evade the AI age verification censorship BS!

The check is server side and based on the perceived region of the user.

The only potential bypass is using a VPN.

I am using a VPN... if it doesn't work we're screwed. I hope the devs find a way to workaround it. I know it's server side but I am confident in the devs.

I am not underage but I think this is BS. I understand the need to protect kids but this method is more trouble than it is worth. For one YT Kids exists, use that. Second the risk of breaches is too great to ignore not to mention the privacy violations.

If kids are a problem then why don't youtube deal with the porn ads and bots.

For now, I am sticking with my VPN.
