As per the announcement made by Google, Android devices with GMS will block sideloading of apps starting later in 2026.

What will be the impact of this on Revanced manager installation and patching of apps by Revanced?

Google has not announced how the change will affect end users that hold an interest in coding.

Must each user get verified just to compile and install open source apps? Or will there be a way to disable the verification using adb or some other dev tool? Google has not said how this use case will work.
